There are a few reasons you may see our stickers and branding on a charger but not be able to see them on our public app.

Private Apps

Some companies, councils and other organisations use our services for private fleet vehicle and/or staff use. In instances such as these, the chargers will be disabled from our public app and will not start any user that has not been verified by the owners administration team.

In most cases these chargers will be in private car parks away from public users, but on occasion they may be in more public spaces. In such cases we advise the chargepoint owner to install adequate signage to warn members of the public of these restrictions.

White Labelled Apps

Some of our customs use 'White Labelled' versions of our app with their own branding to make the distinction that their chargers are for private use more clear. In cases such as this you may notice a second companies name listed beside ours, and the branding will differ from our standard light blue and white design.

If the charger you are looking at is on a White Labelled app, it is only accessible to members of that organisation. If you are a member, scan the QR code or enter the weblink seen on the sticker into your browser to be redirected to the app for your private network.

New Installs

Installing EV chargers is not always a simple undertaking, sometimes when an installer has encountered an issue, run out of time or been faced with unsuitable weather conditions, an install may have been aborted part way through. In situations like this, the charger would still be hidden from the app while we wait for the installer to return to the site and finish the job. Depending on how far a long the install was, the unit may already be powered up, just not yet configured with the app.

If you have any queries about an install and would like more information about when it will be completed, please contact us by emailing support@parkrecharge.app and we will reach out to the installer or charge point owner for more information.

Maintenance

In some cases, if a charger is experiencing frequent or permanent faults, we may suspend it from our app until the maintenance provider or manufacturer has repaired the fault.
