The Rural Energy Resilience project is using 2 state of the art V2G charge points.
Some trial partners will be using the eNovates 10 kW V2G unit. This is a 3-phase bi-directional chargepoint that draws or supplies 16A per phase.
It is wall mounted and uses the ChaDeMo standard to interface with the vehicle.
Other trial partners will be using the Nichicon 6 kW V2G unit. This is a single-phase bi-directional chargepoint that draws or supplies 26A.
It is ground-mounted and also uses the ChaDeMo standard to interface with the vehicle.
