Once you have received your RFID card, login details and have topped up your account with credit, you will be able to use your RFID card for a Tap-And-Go experience.
The plug in procedure can differ slightly charger to charger.
Schneider Electric:
For Schneider units you need to follow the steps detailed below.
1. Swipe your RFID card in front of the RFID reader (The dark grey square underneath the 3 LED strips at the top of the unit).
2. Push the green button on the side of the unit that you wish to use.
3. Open the flap of the charger and plug your cable in.
4. Plug in to your car.
5. Listen for a loud 'Clunk' noise - this is the sound of the locking pins securing the cable so it cannot be unplugged. Power will start flowing to the vehicle after this point.
Garo:
For Garo Chargers you need to follow the steps detailed below.
1. Swipe your RFID card above the socket you wish to use (Hold your card in front of the 'RFID' LED).
2. Wait for the charger to beep and the LED at the top of the charger start's flashing Yellow.
3. Plug your cable in to the charger.
4. Plug in to your car.
5. Listen for a loud 'Clunk' noise - this is the sound of the locking pins securing the cable so it cannot be unplugged. Power will start flowing to the vehicle after this point.
